Our Target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on catwalk.ge. We have not yet completed an independent third-party audit, so this page describes what we have checked ourselves and what we know is still outstanding, rather than claiming full conformance.

What We Have Verified

Every interactive control is a real button or link and can be reached and operated with the keyboard alone. Overlays (bag, wishlist, search, account, size guide) trap focus while open, close on Escape, and return focus to the control that opened them. A skip-to-content link is the first item in the tab order. Every image carries alt text, and images that are purely decorative are marked as such so screen readers skip them. Text and background colour pairs meet the AA contrast ratio for their size in both light and dark mode. The page language is declared and changes with the language you select. Animation is disabled when your system is set to reduce motion. The layout reflows without a horizontal scrollbar down to a 320px viewport and text stays legible at 200% browser zoom.

Known Limitations

The site is a JavaScript application. Pages are pre-rendered so their content is present in the HTML, but full interaction requires JavaScript. The payment form and the human-verification widget are supplied by our payment provider and by Cloudflare; their markup is outside our control. Product image alt text is generated from brand, product name and colour, and does not describe the garment in detail. We have not yet tested every flow with every screen reader, and we have not had an independent accessibility audit.

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is checked as part of our regular release process, and issues reported to us are triaged alongside other defects. When we find something we cannot fix immediately, we add it to the limitations above rather than leaving it unstated.
